Sandbank Picnic

Sundays are perfect for picnics at Sandbank. Our guests arrived at the Yacht Club mid morning while we prepped the boats ready for a day out on the water. Foul Hook was seeing off Uto Ni Yalo— the traditional Fijian canoe— as they departed for Tonga.

Sunny days at Sandbank

We took our guests on Tovolea with lunch and drinks packed. There were a few other boats already there when we arrived, but they didn’t stay long. Soon, we had the spot to ourselves. There was a light sea breeze and the sun was shining.

Soon, Foul Hook came along with some more guests. We played rugby and had a picnic. As the sun began to descend, we packed up and headed back to the Yacht Club. The sky glowed orange and pink as we arrived.
